We had a absolutely amazing time, and enjoyed everything in house and around town!

Loved the property! The location, privacy, exterior grounds and the overall house were amazing. This huge property easily accommodated all of us (5 adults and 3 children). We are on the pickier side when it comes to rental properties but this house felt like home faster than most and we will definitely be back.

True to its 1929 roots. Great location. Wonderfully appointed -- we wanted for nothing as the host anticipated our needs and provided a clean, well-stocked property. Gardens were incredible -- worth staying just for that! A perfect place to experience the original Palm Springs and have a relaxing retreat in the desert. Would recommend especially to families, mature couples.

Our entire family spent Christmas together. Wonderful home, we enjoyed pickleball court and pool! Great location! Walk to downtown strip in Palm Springs. Enjoyed riding bikes and park nearby. Highly recommended! Plenty of space for all.

This home was perfect for our family of 11. The Pool and pickleball court for tons of use. There were a few tiles loose in the Kitchen floor and that was it!

Such an unbelievable home. Our group of 12 had the most phenomenal weekend at Hacienda Ramona. The home is even more beautiful in person than it is in person and feels very private. The hosts could not have been more helpful leading up to and during our stay, and the location can't be beat (walking distance to bars and restaurants). It's at the top of our list of Palm Springs houses.

The Hacienda Ramona was perfect for our group. Large, well appointed kitchen, beautiful property, plenty of space for a large group. The casita was great for a couple with a baby to have some privacy and space separate from the rest of the group. Great location walking distance to bars/restaurants as well.

Beautiful estate, very well-maintained - I am so glad we found this gem for a long weekend. This home has set a new standard for Palm Springs rentals. We cannot wait to return!

A really lovely house with a relaxed vibe - great for any group with varying needs bc there are multiple private rooms spread out and smaller rooms near each other. Pickleball, pool and grounds are also fab for any families. Property probably not ideal for toddlers but great for families with kids and teens.

THE HOST ALTAMIRA VACATION , LARS AND TAMMY, ARE WONDERFUL. RESPONSIVE TO ALL ONE'S NEEDS AND CONCERNS. WE ADORD THE BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS AND HOME. A VERY PEACEFUL PLACE TO ENJOY THE GORGEOUS GROUNDS AND VIEW. HOUSE IS IMPECCABLE. AND THE OWNERS MAINTAIN THE PROPERTY AND HOME BEAUTIFULLY. WE ENJOYED EVERY ASPECT OF THIS HISTORIC RESIDENCE, AND CAN NOT WAIT TO RETURN.

We loved our stay at Hacienda Ramona! This house has so much character...so many little details to enjoy in each room. The courtyards were wonderful for evening wine and cheese. The home is within walking distance of a park and many great restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Hacienda Ramona. This is a beautiful house with an interesting history. The neighborhood is lovely, and it is an easy walk to the park and a great variety of restaurants. The managers were quick to respond, and the information book with this house is one of the best I’ve seen! We hope to return someday soon.

Beautiful property in great area, walking distance of downtown. 2 of the bedrooms are accessible by walking outside of the main house, so great if there are multiple couples / adults that want a little more privacy.

Beautiful, spacious, well manicured grounds. The pickleball court is a plus! The home is large and the bedrooms spacious. Good linens and towels. The kitchen is adequate, on the small size with an aging dishwasher. This being an older home it could use some updating.

It was a perfect getaway for 7 sisters who loved our time together in this beautiful home. The private outdoor space is amazing, we loved the pool and pickleball court and Lars and Tiffany took great care of us and made everything easy. Highly recommended.

We needed a place last minute in Palm Springs, in order to escape the la fires.We also had two dogs. Lars was able to get us into the House of Views, which its a wonderful property. Best backyard lighting and pool area. House is a pedigree by Albert Frey, so the design inside was great. We also loved the art on the walls,, which has an English flavor to it. Has a great view. There is a school across the street, so one does hear children at play during school hours, from the back yard. B beautiful property and a great kitchen.

We gave this property five stars. We were worried that it might not be in a nice enough neighborhood for the price we were paying. The neighborhood turned out to be very nice - the house is on a cul de sac and very quiet. Very nice sitting in the house by the fireplace or sitting outside by the pool. The owners provided several amenities that we didn’t expect such as a stocked bar. Finally the house was beautifully furnished. You will enjoy your stay.

Wouldn't Change a Thing!!

House, pool and yard were beautiful, better in person than the pictures. Well equipped and very comfortable except there is no ice maker in the kitchen. There is one in the bar area but it barely worked. A negative is that there is an elementary school playground across the street. Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM you will hear the sound of children playing noisily. We found it distracting if you want to relax by the pool during these times. Altimira Vacation Rental folks were terrific - friendly, professional and responsive. Generally, a very nice neighborhood and convenient location. We would have given the house a higher location rating except for noise from the school playground.

This home has it all in the heart of the best neighborhood in Palm Springs. Very well kept and well stocked -all necessities are made available to you. Perfect layout of bedrooms and bathrooms. The backyard oasis with pool and patio is so serene and such a great space to unwind and relax. Morning walks in this neighborhood are unbeatable. Host and management were amazing to work with. We want to make this a yearly trip now.

Our stay here with family and friends was wonderful. The house is large and pool area is just lovely. Beds were comfy with nice linens. Great neighborhood for walking and taking in the views and architecture.

Stayed there with my spouse, dad and our two kids. Beautiful home and plenty of space for us. Hot tub and pool plus actual grass were awesome for all of us. Location is convenient though closer to palm canyon road than we realized (no traffic issues though).

Great location! We had an issue with water flow in the showers and the property management company was right on top of it.

If you're looking for authentic, mid-century modern with a great location, this is the place. It's vintage but very well maintained.

We had a fabulous stay at the Las Palmas home. The location is convenient, the neighborhood peaceful, the property beautiful and well-appointed - and that backyard! Our group of 8 felt right at home and had plenty of space to spread out. The hosts were extremely responsive, helpful and flexible. We would absolutely love to return.

Lovely stay for our family of seven in Old Las Palmas. The home is comfortable and has an entertaining mid-century character. The location is wonderful: charming neighborhood and we walked to dinner every evening we dined out.

This is a wonderful home with a great location in the Old Las Palmas area. Its a classic property, ideal for those who appreciate mid-century design and are willing to be gentle with its collection of furniture pieces and the original fixtures. Its also very private with lovely surprises like four lemon trees out front, a great spa, and wonderful views. We highly recommend this property

Eight of us (four couples) stayed here and had a great vacation. With four large bedrooms and four large bathrooms the place easily accommodated the eight of us. Loved the pool and hot tub as well. Quite close to great dining and downtown. Couldn’t recommend the place highly enough!

We had a wonderful time spend Xmas at this house. The interior design is beautiful, feeling very Palm Springs while being very comfy and feeling spacious for 7 people. The kitchen is very big and well equipped to cook a holiday meal. The pool was heated at a perfect temperature and it was great to be able to swim in December. Overall a top notch experience!

This is one of the most stunning homes we have ever rented. It’s hard to believe the beautiful pictures are real, but they are - the mountains and palm trees in the background while swimming or dining outdoors are simply breathtaking. The interior is beautifully maintained and wonderfully representative of the Palm Springs mid-century style (the kitchen is highly functional while a total throwback in time). I can’t say enough kind words about the Altamira staff - they were thorough, communicative, humorous, and all around lovely. Highly recommend this property and property manager.

This is an absolutely stunning property managed by a top notch rental agency. Everything about our experience was perfection. And the home is as gorgeous as the photos...which is not always the case. But with this one, it’s even better in real life. We traveled with our 3 kids and my parents. The addition of the separate “casita” suite with a king bed and bath makes for an amazing set up for grandparents to escape the noise of the main house when needed. Highly recommend for multi-generational trips (with kids old enough to respect the beautiful furniture!!).

A great house in the best neighborhood in Palm Springs. It was a peaceful stay and had so many birds in attendance out in the bougainvillea people on my work calls thought someone was playing birdsong back ground music. The home and landscaping are more detailed and lush in person. It is citrus season and the lemons were lovely. Expertly managed and hosted by Lars. Much appreciated all the great books in the home as well. Will be coming back for another stay!
