Luxe Bungalow

Private and nice neighborhood. Able to walk or short drive to shopping, dining, and attractions. Clean, comfortable, lovely home with a perfect layout. Bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen all modern and spacious. The pool and outdoor space was serene and we enjoyed afternoons lounging in the sun immensely, watching the hummingbirds hover over the desert flora.

The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. We loved this property! Cozy, with great PS style! Two very comfortable king suites perfect for our getaway with friends. Pool was heated ready for our arrival.Great location to airport, restaurants and golf. 4stars for kitchen cleanliness since oven and oven mitts were dirty. We’d rent this property again.

The the two bedroom bungalow that we rented was just the right fit for us. The house was located in a great neighbourhood, a few blocks from the amazing bagel place Townie’s. Close to downtown... walkable distance as well bike friendly paths to downtown. The house was well stocked and clean. The backyard was private but not quiet. We dealt with 2 construction site noise. One directly next to us and one adjacent to the backyard. The next door construction site was excruciating!!!! They did not abide by the noise bylaw of Palm Springs. Thankfully we had a very responsive management company with Altamira. Specifically Lars was very helpful. We will return to Palm Springs again but will do our research before renting. At the moment I would not recommend this place because of the ongoing construction. But I would recommend it for the location, the cleanliness and style of the house once construction is completed.

This home is beautiful. The location is perfect. The design is elegant. The kitchen is well-outfitted and the outdoor space is perfect. When you're not lounging by the pool, you can check out the beautiful garden. It's peaceful and in the cutest neighborhood.

The property exceeded the pictures and was well equipped for a stay of 9 weeks. We loved the outdoor spaces (including the front yard) and it was very quiet. Easy walk to downtown Palm Springs. Altamira was very responsive to our requests but our constructive criticism is they should do a better "walk around" before guests come in - one of the bathroom taps barely had any water running from it and there was a lighting issue that had to be dealt with. All in all a very lovely stay.

This was the perfect home to stay at for our long weekend vacation. It was in walking distance of downtown Palm Springs. It had nice amenities and the house was nicely decorated and clean. Also the beds were really comfortable which is unusual in a rental. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and well appointed bungalow a few minutes drive from the main area in PS for shopping and restaurants. Beds were comfortable. Decor was on point. Things to consider before renting (these are not critiques, just facts):

1. It is quite small. Perfect for a couple. Or a couple and a child. Two couples are okay but you should be prepared not to have any privacy.

2. The back yard is very nice but direct sun is limited by the privacy fence after 2pm ish in the winter months.

Rental agency was very professional. Be prepared to drive. The house is not really walking distance to the central area. Do yourself a favour and order in from Bill Pizza. Its amazing!

We loved our stay. Beautiful pool area, well-appointed home, beautiful upgrades, quality furniture, linens, and towels. It’s cozy but perfect for up to four people. We will be back.

This was a great home for our stay in Palm Springs. It is a lot smaller than it appears in the pictures but everything is as pictured. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the back yard.

I can't praise the men I've dealt with at AltaMira enough. Jessie, Alexander and Vince were a pleasure to work with and made our stary more comfortable because of them.

Luxe Bungalow was a beautiful home and the yard was outstanding. We traveled with our 2 teenage daughters and they are already asking when can we come back agin. This is by far one of the coziest houses we have rented and we will be back for sure.

Our stay at the Luxe Bungalow was sublime. The house is airy and bright and perfect for hanging in out in. Lots of comfortable spaces to sit, both inside and out, good beds, and a workable kitchen. The pool is fantastic and the hot tub heats up nicely. The Warm Sands neighborhood is fun to walk around in, the house is close to a creek offering a two mile loop for a morning constitutional (before it gets too hot), and one can also easily walk to Palm Canyon, the main downtown strip. We stayed for a month and would have stayed longer if our lives hadn't called us away!

We knew immediately when we walked into the Luxe Bungalow how much we were going to miss it when we left. The house and the surrounding property are absolute perfection. It is as if we took our favorite feature of every vacation rental we have ever stayed at, and put it into one house/property. The house is brilliantly designed, with multiple comfortable seating areas both inside and out, stunning original works of art on the walls, comfortable furnishings, a modern, well-stocked kitchen, and a cozy fireplace inside, as well as a fire pit outside. The house is flooded with natural light from the huge windows all throughout the house. We loved how all the huge doors could be slid open (as well as the pass-through window in the kitchen) for that true indoor/outdoor living feel. The gardens were lovely. The showers were AMAZING!! We utilized every inch of this phenomenal property to read, relax, cook, dine, swim, have drinks, look at the stars, etc. We loved it so much we booked our vacation to the Luxe Bungalow for next year before we even checked out! As usual, the staff of Altamira Vacation rentals (Alexander, Vince, Lars, Michael) were beyond friendly and helpful, the absolute BEST!!! They always make us feel like we are old friends returning home every year. We can't wait to come back next year!

Great location in Palm Springs! Was in town for New Years and had a great time - great pool and hot tub and very well designed place. The kitchen had everything we needed! Definitely would stay here again!

Perfect location for downtown dining, hiking nearby canyons and mountains, as well as easy drive to Joshua. Secluded behind walls just tall enough to block homes but still a view of the mountains. Wonderful hot tub, pool, and backyard oasis.

A truly charming little house with lovely pool and outdoor space, and so close to all the downtown Palm Springs action! This place is perfect for two couples, a family of four, or four friends who are willing to share two beds. Just a bit far from hub of downtown but could be walkable (and 5 mins generally by car). Really lovely home all around.
