Whispering Palms

Had a great stay at Whispering Palms and the team at Altamira were great hosts. The backyard was incredible and exactly what we were looking for in a house in PS.

Decided to spend Christmas in PS.This was our second time at this home and was as good as the first. Roomy and convenient local.

Our two families of 4 spent the majority of the time in the lovely pool. We were worried about not making too much noise because the city had very strict sound ordinances but that’s not the Airbnb’s fault. No music allowed outside at all. We may rethink a different city next time because of this worry, but again, not Airbnb’s fault. The house is mid century, and the kitchen is not updated, but it works! I’d recommend new & sturdier cabinets. Also, the kitchen is missing cinnamon and cooking oil. That would’ve been nice. :) Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, and very cute decor. The sound carries throughout the house, so if you’re looking to rest while your friends are up, bring headphones or a sound machine. THE POOL & HOT TUB ARE THE BEST. So clean, so warm, so lovely. Thank you for the amazing vacation!!!

The home was spacious and in a cute and quiet neighborhood. The pool area was wonderful. Kitchen seemed like an afterthought, but we didn’t really need it, so it was fine for us.

We had a great time Palm Springs, the house had everythig we needed and the swimming pool was wonderful.

We had the pleasure of staying at Whispering Palms over Memorial Day weekend. I can't say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, everything met or exceeded our expectations. First, the location is ideal. Being just a stone's throw away from downtown Palm Springs meant we had easy access to all the restaurants and shops the area has to offer. Whether you want to explore the downtown scene or relax in the peaceful surroundings of the house, you can have the best of both worlds. The house is spacious and the open layout of the living area and backyard allow for easy socializing. The furnishings were comfortable, and the attention to detail was evident throughout the entire property. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pool. With the weather being so nice, we hung out by the pool pretty much all day. It has a waterfall and spa that the kids loved as much as the adults. The comfortable loungers and seating options made it the perfect place to unwind and relax. With 4 bedrooms there is plenty of room for everyone to comfortably sleep. The kitchen is a little small but we were still able to cook for every meal. There is also an Albertsons around the corner for grocery shopping. Our only complaint would be the no music rule and quiet hours until 10:00am, but luckily our neighbors played music that was loud enough for us to enjoy. Overall we highly recommend this property!

The rental company that manages this was very clear, helpful and responsive in their communications with me. I was very impressed with the property's cleanliness, size and overall comfiness. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Whispering Palms! It's even nicer than it looks in photos, inside and out, and was perfect for our group. Checkin and communication were flawless. The hot water heater crapped out but the managers responded in person right away (in the middle of a holiday weekend) and made it right - the heater ended up being replaced, so future renters don't have to worry! I highly recommend this place and these managers, and hope to stay here again.

Property was clean and well stocked with essentials. Otherwise, the four additional TV were programmable. We would definitely consider returning to this property.

I fell in love with this home the moment I saw it! I'm not sure what I loved more; the pool or the French doors that led out to the yard. It was a perfect home for 7. My only complaint is that I had accidentally hit 8 visitors instead of 7. The moment I noticed my mistake I tried to fix it but I was denied that. With that, I was charged for a total of 8 guests. Super bummed that I wasnt allowed a refund for the difference. But like i said the home was great, great location. Semi quiet neighborhood, we could hear others having fun (birthday pool party). that didnt bug us. We enjoyed the music they had on. I would love to stay again at this place if given the opportunity.

This house was lovely, it was nice that the 2 master bedrooms were on one side of the house and the two queen rooms on the other. The pool was the selling point for us. Both house and pool accommodated our party of 8 comfortably.

The only two drawbacks are the excessive fees charged by VRBO and the rental rules that the city of PALM SPRINGS have. They make you feel like you are getting scolded for something you haven't even done. It's a bummer because I would totally rent this place again but we will try Palm Dessert. I understand that the residents want control over renters behavior but not all renters are bad.

Beautiful house in a great/convenient location, amazing pool and comfortable rooms!

Our group loved staying here. Coordinating logistics and check-in with Altamira (shoutout to Vince!) was easy and exceedingly pleasant. The house was beautiful, clean, and really well-located close to the main street in Palm Springs. I would absolutely stay both at this house and with Altamira again.

Amazing backyard pool area. Perfect vacation for our family of teenagers.

Our 2 sons and 2 granddaughters joined my husband and I for our stay. We all loved the backyard. The pool was great and it was nice to have a shaded area to eat out meals outside. we enjoyed farmers markets, museums, thursday night street event downtown, hiking. Palm Springs is a great place to vacation.

Adults only... kids left with grandparents. Celebrating a 40th birthday. Pool time, hiking, golf, spa time, dinners out. Palm Springs was amazing and this house was perfect!! Fabulous backyard!!

This house is AMAZING! The pool, the layout, the location. Just a fantastic family vacation. The two masters is great for two couples and the two other bedrooms were perfect for the kids. Loved the two living spaces and the outdoor space was even better! We spent 12 hours a day in the pool and by the end of the day we all slept like rocks in our comfy beds. Couldn’t recommend more!

I could not have asked for a better vacation experience. The house itself was even more beautiful in person than in the lovely pictures. My whole process from beginning to end was professional and courteous, leaving no questions unanswered. The Noise ordinance was a concern at first, no music outside? But my family enjoyed it non the less and it didn't even matter. I want to thank Altamira Vacation for the experience I had, and I cannot wait to rent from them again. PS - the house IS SO WELL DECORATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could live there! Smart TV's in every room was the icing on the cake.

Had the best relaxing time. We had our trip a week ago and we are all ready to plan our next stay. We read all the rules ahead of time and had no issues or complaints. We spend most of the time in the pool, once the sun set we enjoyed our meals outside. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Like I said, we are planning to return really soon.

The neighbors behind us BLASTED MUSIC the entire weekend. Some other neighbor accused us of playing music outside before we even arrived. I know it's not your fault but this music issue is ripe for a class-action lawsuit against the city of PS. Owners can blast and renters can't even play an iPhone or talk outside after 10 pm? The neighbors are assholes. I would never rent this property again.

We had a wonderful stay. The outside pool area was fantastic!! We used the fire pit a few times at night!! The house was clean and plenty of room. The kitchen was a little small but still worked for us. I would highly recommend this house

This vacation was just what we needed. A clean house with plenty of towels for pool and bathrooms. The pool was just wonderful with a large hot tub. Cannot wait to go back!!

My family had the best time in this wonderful home. We’re already missing the amazing backyard and want to return soon! They were so helpful throughout the stay and we highly recommended Altamira for your getaway needs.

A great place for the whole family to get together.

Perfect place for 8 for a weekend in Palm Springs. Wonderfull setup with a great outdoor area for lounging in the sun or shade. With 4 bedrooms and 2 living areas there's plenty of space to sleep and hangout. Easy check-in with an Altamira representative. The location great, just a short ride to downtown Palm Springs.
