We really enjoyed our stay. Great backyard with heated pool/spa and lots of space for the dog to play. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and the kitchen/BBQ were well stocked with essentials.

We spent a quiet 5 days to ring in the new year. The place was perfect. Loved the pool and the hot tub. Kitchen had everything you need to cook up the meals. The staff was pretty responsive when we needed anything. The house was private and quiet with great views of the mountains from back yard. Will definitely be back.

The stay was perfect for a weekend getaway to Palm Springs . Durning the day you’ll enjoy the outside area and indoor amenities and at night downtown was a cheap Uber drive ! Plus the host is super responsive, if there is anything you need durning your stay.

We really liked this rental. Lovely little pool, nice views, great yard. We had our 2 dogs and the yard was completely secure for them. The main bedroom bed was a little hard but the other beds were fine. Overall highly recommend! My only suggestion for the owners is they say on Fridays the pool guy comes but they don’t give a time or even a window. It really put a damper on the day because we couldn’t let the dogs out or use the pool. We ended up leaving at 2 so I’m not sure if he ever came. But a window would be good, like 10-2 or 2-5 just so you can plan your day.

We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive with check-in and anything we needed. Only a 5 min drive to downtown. Exactly as described. Would stay there again.

We rented Tramview for six days. Landscape extraordinaire, great pool but would need railing to get in and out. Home decor warm; could use luggage racks in each room rooms. Team Altamira very responsive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our third stay at Tramview. The amenities are abundant and location is perfect. We did have a couple of repair issues that popped up, but the Altamira team was quick to respond and resolve them. We look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful house in a great location.

This house is very “what you see is what you get” – and for the price point, it’s not the fanciest Palm Springs rental you can find. Checking in and dealing with the agency that runs the house was easy and we had no issues -- they are friendly and efficient and got us an early check-in, which we really appreciated!The outdoor area, pool and spa are GREAT and much more modern than the interior of the home. The views from the backyard are expansive and some of the best in Palm Springs.Inside most, if not all, of the mid-century charm has been renovated out of this house – think popcorn ceilings and basic floor tiles. The kitchen layout is best for only 1 person to be cooking at a time, since the stove is directly in the middle of everything – including where the fridge, silverware drawer, and wine glasses, are all located. We were only 2 people in this house and had frequent traffic jams in the kitchen.The last caveat to mention is this house is located on the north side of Palm Springs, which means when there is wind you will get A LOT of wind at this house. We stayed here during a big wind storm and could not use the outdoor space for more than half our visit. That is no one’s fault, but if you have not been to PS before geography + time of year really matters. But, once we jumped in our car and drove the couple miles into Palm Springs proper, the winds died down and we were able to enjoy restaurants and shops outside with no wind tunnel. (Get a reservation at Tac/Quila, our favorite new restaurant in town!)

Overall a good stay. The house has a great location and a nice layout, and if you enjoy cooking the kitchen is well appointed and there is an outdoor grill. It has 3 bedrooms, but we only had 4 guests. However, if we had 6 (or even 5) it might feel a bit cramped. But, the space was conducive for hanging out and socializing, especially the expansive patio area. Sadly the pool was problematic and the heating element only got resolved on our last day. However, the management office was always very responsive and friendly. We had one issue when the gardeners came a day later than expected, so it was a bit of a disruption. A shower leak was reported early on but was never tended to, so we had to use towels every day to sop up water on the bathroom that spilled out from the shower. Because it was Coachella week the rate was quite high, so given the issues the value wasn’t there. However, I would still recommend the house despite the issues, but not during a surge pricing period.

Overall, a good stay. The rates were very high due to it being Coachella week, and since we were not there for the festival it was a fairly pricey accommodation for what we got. In general the house was clean and well appointed. It has 3 bedrooms, but we had 2 couples and couldn't imagine a third (would have felt cramped). The pool heating never worked correctly and was only properly fixed on our last day, so we really couldn't use the pool. There were a few minor issues that we reported, and the management was very friendly and responsive.

As another reviewer had stated ignore any negatives, this is a great old school re-modeled Palm Springs house. The management company Altamira handled our reservation promptly and professionally. The house is very well equipped compared to many Airbnb's we have stayed, they even supplied an additional propane tank for the barbecue. The backyard is great with a lovely view of the mountains. The kids loved the pool (it's not an Olympic size pool but great for splashing around) You will hear periodical noise from planes from the nearby airport but no big deal. It was nice to have a TV in each bedroom and efficient wifi.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this little California bungalow. The backyard is lovely and the house was the perfect size for what we needed! It is a short drive to just about anything you can think of to do in Palm Springs so the location is great! The company was easy to work with, super nice and super helpful! Palm Springs is always a fabulous idea and this was a fabulous place to get away to!

Enjoyed our stay at Tram View. Convenient to downtown and activities. Quiet neighborhood. Nice walking area too.

Lovely place to spend time with family. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Heated pool in the winter was perfect. Close to downtown , but far enough away to be quiet .

The Tramview is wonderful. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen was stocked. We loved the backyard with the pool, outdoor shower and extra relaxation area. A great respite! We will be back.

Our stay at the Tramview was so relaxing. The beautiful mid-century home is clean, comfortable and calming. It is very near Downtown Palm Springs and the airport. But honestly, we rarely left the pool area to venture out on the town…it was that nice! Communication with Altamira Rentals was efficient and easy. We were provided with detailed check-in and out processes. I would definitely stay again!

This was our second year staying at Tramview. The home is well-stocked to take advantage of the outdoor amenities and the location is ideal being so accessible to stores and the downtown area. We look forward to staying again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The outdoor area is fantastic. Lots of room and very attractive. I love the umbrella that shades some of the spa and pool. There's also an outdoor shower off the master bath with access to the yard. I love outdoor showers so this was a definite bonus for me1.This is a mid-century home so the bedrooms aren't big which is fine by me because we mostly stayed outside and in the common areas. Someone mentioned in another review that the bath towels were small. I brought my own just in case and turns out they are rather skimpy. The beach towels provided are very nice!The master bedroom doesn't have a dresser which was kind of a bummer. Just a large TV armoire. Not everything can be hung in the closet and I like to put my packing cubes in drawers, so I would have much preferred a full dresser with the TV on top!The kitchen is well-appointed. We did cook some and it was fine. The dishes and kitchen were very clean when we got there.I would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great time! The pool and yard are fantastic. Very comfortable bed and really well equipped kitchen. Nice touch - the bathroom magnifying mirror so I could actually see my face.

Our first trip to California. Love Palm Springs. This home is so comfortable. We did lots of touring using this home as our base. So close to downtown, we went our to dinner multiple times and had great meals. We used uber and it was super easy. We love the backyard and spent each afternoon sipping cocktails and swimming in the pool. The private yard and lush landscaping makes it a retreat for sure. We will be back.

An awesome mid-century modern getaway with great amenities that was both dog and kid friendly! If you chose to stay here be sure to try as many of the dining recommendations as possible (all were amazing).

This house is really beautiful, stylish, immaculately clean and the pool and jacuzzi area are truly lovely. We had a wonderful time during our 4 day stay. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the communication on the day we arrived was a little frustrating regarding instructions regarding the heating of the pool and jacuzzi. We had been traveling for 3 hours stuck in traffic with a toddler and were looking forward to using the jacuzzi and we were unable to due to some miscommunications with the rental company host. I will say that they offered to reimburse us for the heating fee we lost for that night so in the end they definitely made up for it. If you decide to stay here just know that there will be a lot of paperwork up front and a lot of very specific rules regarding check out and maintenance of the property but for us it was totally worth it. It was a perfect quarantine getaway for our family of three with a toddler. If you have a toddler the backyard, pool, jacuzzi, and the fact that everything is on one floor was just awesome. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this great house as a break away from the NJ Winter. The house was clean, the beds super comfortable and the location of this house was great. Although the tram to the mountain top was closed we walked to the top and had a great day. We loved how close this house was to Albertsons grocery store. Had a birthday dinner at Tropicale which was quick uber ride away. We had a few cold days and had the pool and spa temp turned up so that we could enjoy the outdoors. The owners had just restocked the entire kitchen and the new additions were greatly appreciated as we like to cook. We will be back! PS, the Weber Grill was clean and we grilled every day!

Overall very pleased except we had a malfunction of the pool heating system which was not completely solved until the last two days of our stay. Management provide some compensation for the problems. Kitchen cooktop required manual lighting as the spark system did not function and the master shower leaked water through the glass encasement onto the floor. Overall a nice property and we would stay again. Kids loved the pool area and yard space. Tv's and cable programming were very satisfactory. Kitchen design was very strange making people movement difficult. Would recommend to others however. Management company staff were very responsive.

We rented this house for five days in November and loved the experience.The house is in a great location with a wonderful view and is furnished with great taste in typical mid century modern
style. The indoor and outdoor experience was so much fun. The garden and the pool area really work well together.A wonderful Palm Springs experience.

Very close to downtown P.S. and hiking trails. Loved walking around neighborhoods. Just a fun-swanking-retro house, lots of grilling, lots of hot tubbing, and left rejuvenated with a golden brown tan. Highly recommended

Yes, it's near a noisy road, but unless you are willing to keep your front door open all the time you won't be bothered at all. As far as the notes and lack of supplied, those people were probably Michelin chefs as this house had much more than our modest culinary minds required. We were cooking every day for a month here during the national lockdown and not once did we feel we were lacking kitchenware. Everything was operational and the property is beautiful inside and out. We were staying here with kids and they loved the backyard and the heated pool + spa. Internet connection was very good as well. Highly recommended.

I spent most of the time relaxing in the amazing hot tub, just staring at the majestic mountains and enjoying the peace that surrounds you. The house is beautiful, it truly has everything you’d need. This Airbnb was spotless and just really wonderful. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Great location close to downtown, easy to find. House is very clean and just as described. Beautiful backyard to relax in. We'd stay again here in the future.

DaynaDecember 2019This is a nice space in a great location (super close to downtown). The kitchen did have all of the tools you need but zero spices (not even salt and pepper and sugar), so we had to spend a lot of money on basic staples, which was a little annoying. There were puzzles in the house for us to do, which was awesome. The Altamira employees were responsive and helpful!

The tram view house was exactly what were looking for. Due to circumstances we were forced to book the day before we arrived and the rental group was outstanding in getting everything done ASAP. Hot tubbing under the mountain was a beautiful time.

Wow! I loved this house. The layout is great with good size rooms. Nice large indoor and outdoor dining and seating areas. Beds comfy. Loved the back yard with gorgeous mountain views. That pool is awesome! The fireplace outdoor living room is lovely at night. We really enjoyed eating outdoors and used the outdoor dining more than the interior. The location can't be beat. A quick bike ride to downtown shops and restaurants. Grocery stores are closeby as is the tram to the top of the mountain. With Palm Springs roads being so wide I really liked that this property is set back from the main street on a service road so that is it really quiet without any traffic noise. Highly recommend! Call Simon at Altamira to book. He's great!

Stayed at this home in September. Loved the feel of the home. Open and bright that lead to a secluded backyard that was lush and green. The furnishings were brand new for our visit as the house just started in vacation rental. Our dog Rico loved the enclosed back yard and chasing the many birds that came to visit him. One of our favorite sitting areas was in the breezeway around the outdoor fireplace. We relaxed each night with a cocktail and planned our next day excursions. So close to downtown, we rented bikes and enjoyed riding through the neighborhoods looking at the architecture. We will be back next fall!

We truly enjoyed the outdoor space and location. Even with being situated on a fairly busy street, it was pretty quiet and mellow. One con, which I’ve seen in other reviews, are the rules that are posted throughout the house. While I understand the need to layout explicit rules, it feels overdone by posting in practically every room and creates a bit of anxiety. The only other con is the mattresses aren’t very comfortable, but we managed to enjoy our stay nonetheless - the outdoor space made up for it!

This charming pet friendly, Mid-Century model home is in the historic community of Tram View Estates, on an exceptional private large lot with a saltwater pool, spa, and beautiful mature landscaping with unobstructed mountain views. It's a quiet home, and we loved that it was so close to the heart of downtown PS. We have 2 pets that loved the yard. You can't beat the view while enjoying cocktails outside at sunset. We will definitely return again next season !
