Spencer Palms

We loved Spencer Palms. The outdoor area was a 10/10. Loved the house. Response time from Altamira was 10/10. Great get away for us to relax and enjoy sunshine and a pool.

If I am sincere, I was not impressed with the property itself as it was outdated and didn't feel clean upon arrival or the management company. I did not like or appreciate all the common-sense rules and threats that were in place. In my opinion, these rules and threats are entirely unnecessary and detract from the overall experience of living on the property.

I believe that a more welcoming and understanding approach from the management company would significantly improve the overall atmosphere of the property. It is essential to foster a sense of community and mutual respect among guests rather than relying on threats and rigid rules to maintain order.

I understand that managing a property can be challenging. Still, I believe there is always room for improvement, and a more customer-centric approach would benefit both the residing guests, the homeowner, and the management company in the long run.

We travel extensively both in the US and abroad, generally opting to stay in a house versus a hotel and we have never experienced so many rules followed by threats. Most of the places we rent are in the $20K plus per week range.

As such, we will opt for a different experience next time we’re in Palm Springs.

This was a lovely vacation rental in a great location that fit my family well. We really enjoyed it. The only downside was that the Jets and the Jacuzzi did not work. I really didn’t want to spend time calling the owners to come out and fix it since the Jacuzzi did get really hot that was enough for me. If they could fix this then I think it would be a 10 out of 10.

Beautiful home inside and out!

Great house for a family trip to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. Pool is fantastic. Altamira host is local and very responsive to any questions/issues. Location is on a quiet street, quick drive to downtown and grocery. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at Spencer Palms! The outdoor area is truly gorgeous. The pool is large, yet the area around the pool is also large and spacious. The gardening is well done and makes it feel like a real oasis. The home is smaller (~1200 sq ft), but still worked well for our family of 5 + 2 adult grandparents. It's also super close to downtown Palm Springs, which is a big benefit. Altamira is extremely responsive and helpful -- one of the best vacation rental management companies we've ever worked with!

We rented this house for 16 days. The house and pool were true to the images online. The staff was very responsive to a few random acclimation issues. I would l]highly recommend this listing. The decor is modern and my favorite part was how the living room, fire pit, and outdoor living room all blended beautifully for an expansive, comfortable feel.

A few quirks affected our rating of this nice place to stay: poorly functioning refrigerator (not cold enough to make ice or keep food fresh) and missing cranks for opening windows to enjoy fresh air & improved circulation.

We had a great 4 day stay with the family. Great location. Close enough to experience everything in palm springs. Agent was great.

This is a lovely home in a very sweet neighborhood. Easy to get out and walk in a friendly community. Grocery is close by. Fabulous backyard and the pool was amazing. We enjoyed Thanksgiving in this home and the kitchen was well appointed to prepare our meal. Altamira was a delight to rent from and the communication and response time was easy.

This is a beautiful home to complement a perfect stay in Palm Springs. In fact, as a family with two kids, this was our destination and we really found little reason to venture out to the city. The pool was perfect in the desert heat and we loved lounging around the spacious property.

This place is fantastic and everything it says it will be. We had a blast with the kids and highly recommend it. Altamira has been a great host and very accommodating.

We really enjoyed the home, location, and especially the backyard. Beautiful view of the mountains and the landscaping was nice. We especially liked the variety of outdoor seating areas and the fire pit for the evening.

I can honestly say, stay at this home in Palm Springs and you will not be disappointed one bit. The location is very central. It's a short ride/mid-range walk to lots of shops and restaurants. It's also about a 5 minute drive to 2 grocery stores which makes it super convenient. The house itself is outstanding, and mostly because of the outdoor space. The pool is awesome and very spacious. The hot tub is just what you would expect. There are also ample areas for seating outside which are perfect for relaxation. The beds are also extremely comfortable. The TVs in the house have Fire TV sticks, but you have to log in with your own credentials to use them. Not anything that I would not book this place because of, but just an annoyance.
