Live More!

We spent three months at "Live More," located in the Sunmor neighborhood of Palm Springs. In short, it's a great 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house in a quiet, lovely, residential neighborhood. In addition, the back yard features excellent views of the mountains.

The house is clean, orderly, and comfortable, and the management company was attentive to any and all questions. Photos of the house are accurate, by the way.

Distilled the red tape of Palm Springs into a very enjoyable experience, would recommend and come again.

This was the first trip to Palm Springs for my husband and me, and this property rental did not disappoint.

The photos depicted the property quite accurately, both inside and out (with the exception of the blooming hedges at the property line, which did not exist).

Inside, everything was spotlessly clean and all of the furnishings were comfortable and in excellent condition. There were plenty of towels, linens, dishes and glassware, and the kitchen appliances were clean and worked as expected. There were interesting books throughout. The pool was wonderful - heated to a perfect temperature.

The location was great, too. Although there wasn't much to walk to in the immediate vicinity, we were only an 8 minute drive from anywhere we wanted to go in town. And although I had been somewhat concerned about being so close to the airport, air traffic noise was not a problem.

Just a couple of "nit-picky" things. There's no hand railing on the steep steps going into the pool. For most people that wouldn't be a problem, but being in my mid-70's and having had two knees and a hip replaced, I would have felt much safer with a railing to hold on to. Also, the gravel between the concrete pool surround and the concrete slab where the lounge chairs are situated would have been better covered with astroturf, similar to the stretch of turf between the seating patio and the pool. Like I said -- these are nit-picky things, but maybe the owners would like to know how they might improve on an already wonderful property.

I highly recommend Live More! for anyone planning a stay in Palm Springs!

The house is wonderful! Retro vibe with beautiful modern touches. We spent most our time in the pool. We used the kitchen for breakfasts which helped save us some money. It’s a short drive to downtown. A little too far for walking, at least in the heat (July). But the house itself is accurately depicted in the photos. It's awesome. We would totally return.

Incredible property, from location to design this is one of the best stay we’ve had using this app. The beds were comfortable, the decor was impressive, the location beyond central in Palm Springs. I highly recommend this home while visiting Palm Springs.

Fantastic home and excellent customer service. My family of 4 spent 6 days and enjoyed every minute of all the amenities and convenience of the location. Altamira Management company made our stay wonderful.

The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Many things to do within a 10-20 minutes drive: downtown Palm Springs, trails, etc. Airport is very convenient, literally 5 minutes away (and, so, yes, there is some aircraft noise, but it's a small airport that shuts down early in the evenings).

The management company is outstanding: friendly, professional, and proactive. They cheerfully accommodated a request for an earlier-than-standard 4pm checkin and the in-person briefing required by Palm Springs for all vacation properties.

We enjoyed our stay - especially the pool and hot tub time - , and would happily visit again.

This is our third stay at this property. Well located, with excellent proximity to the airport, hiking trails, shopping and restaurants! Property is well maintained with current upgrades and decor. Well proportioned living space and rooms. Private back garden with outstanding views of the mountains. Excellent outdoor living space with inground pool and built in hot tub.

As other reviewers have said, the place is absolutely spotless. The renovation is spot on and well done. It was perfect for two families with young kids. Loved how two of the three bedrooms opened up to the pool.

Live More was comfortable, immaculate and well-located. Even better, while basking in the sun as we floated in the pool or relaxed in the hot-tub, there was a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains. Looking for a place in PS? Look no further than Live More.

Four of us stayed at Live More in Palm Springs. The house was impeccable and the staff very helpful. The location was ideal as well. We would stay there again if we plan a future trip to the area.

Feel very fortunate to have enjoyed a winter getaway here, escaping the Midwest's polar vortex in Feb 2019. The pictures speak for themselves, it's exactly as appears, very nicely decorated with period furniture and a bit of glam, while still being very comfortable. We're usually disappointed by the beds in rental properties, but this home has new, high quality supportive mattresses. The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking and entertaining. Less than 5 minutes from anything you want to do in Palm Springs: dining, shopping, hiking and airport. Given the central location I expected more noise and traffic -- not at all. We were delighted at how quiet and peaceful it is. Once you slip into the backyard you're in a completely private oasis with just mountains and palms and few singing birds. Michael and Alexander at the property management company (Alta Mira) are extremely professional, responsive and easy to work with. Will rent again with them at this or another property.

Overall, an excellent vacation. The house was beautiful and nicely decorated. The location is super - close to the airport and the CBD. The place is well equipped; much better than most of the vacation homes we have rented, but I would expect nothing less from my good friend Susan.

If you're going to stay in Palm Springs, it pays to go all out for an architecturally cool, retro house that takes you back to the city's heyday. The house is by far the cleanest and most well-maintained Airbnb I've ever stayed in and it's in a great location only a 3 minute drive from the airport. Everyone at Altamira was very patient answering all my questions (renting in Palm Springs can be a little more complicated than in other towns) and were quick to respond to my calls and emails with solutions when some minor things came up with the recycling and dryer. The pool was heated when we arrived and made swimming an option well into the chilly night. The required walk-through upon arrival is quick and painless and Moe was super nice and helpful. And the smart TV's in every room were a nice bonus! The only downside is there are a LOT of house rules to wade through, but any respectful guest with common sense won't have a problem with any of them. Can't wait to visit again.

My partner and I had a glorious 10 day vacation over the Thanksgiving holiday while staying at this beautifully renovated mid-century house. Centrally located and close to both grocery stores and the main Palm Springs strip, the house was perfect as our base camp. But honestly, with the weather between 85-90F every day, we preferred to lounge in the large backyard swimming pool which had been heated to perfection in advance of our arrival, as requested. Compared to other houses, this backyard is completely 100% private as it's surrounded by tall, mature hedges. Neighbors can't look in and you can't even see the roof of a neighboring home. Extremely quiet and peaceful. I would happily stay here ANYTIME! It's a lovely home.

The only comment to future guests renting anywhere in Palm Springs is that the city recently passed a "no outdoor music" ordinance whereby absolutely no music can be played outside at any time lest the neighbors are disturbed. It seems draconian but the city appears to mean business as we were warned about the "outdoor music ban" by several people.

Booked a week in October, pictures and description were spot on and did not disappoint. We arrived late and after dark and all the lights were on, A/C on, that was a unexpected nice touch.

Super clean, pool was nice and warm, kitchen was well stocked, sharp knives, lots of utensils and tons of towels. Even the panty had the basics like flour, spices, oil, sugar, etc. Nicely decorated, coffee table books and the vinyl record player was a cool touch. The Owner obviously has created a very nice place for guests to feel at home.

A few very minor complaints, the pool light was burned out, but it was replaced, although it was the at the end of our stay. The communication with the management company could have been a bit more proactive. They were responsive when asked, but had to be prompted.

All in all, a fantastic experience, would highly recommend.

Found the perfect house in Palm Springs. The residence is totally worth it, relaxing bbq n heated pool with friends. Will be back.

Exquisitely furnished immaculate home in a very quiet and lovely area. Minutes to downtown. Owner has lovingly restored this home and it is perfection! Your stay will be more than you ever expected! Be sure to play a little Dean and take yourself back to that incredible era. I cannot wait to go back, better than any 5 Star I've been to!
