Calm Palm Retreat

This place was absolutely fantastic! Everything we expected and so much more. Host was extremely responsive to questions (even answered a general question after hours so we wouldn’t have to wait until the next morning). So thoughtful. The community was beautiful and the home itself exceptional! Made for a wonderfully relaxing vacation! The boys enjoyed using the sports courts (tennis, pickle ball, basketball etc). Thanks for helping us make great memories!

Amazing place to stay! Felt right at home. Everything was comfortable and well communicated by Altima Vacations. Lars and team went out of their way to bring the crib and pack n play that we forgot to rent. Thanks Lars!

The house was beautiful and clean more than big enough for what we needed. The outdoors was wonderful very quiet neighborhood. We played at the golf course, which is also on the property and had a great time. Looking forward to coming back.

This house was very nice! The Desert Princess community was very safe, clean and friendly. It was pretty close to downtown Palm Springs, but is a 15 minute drive to get anywhere. The house was clean and well decorated. Our biggest complaint was the beds; they were really firm. Overall, I would stay here again.

Our group stays in Princess Desert at least once a year for a golf trip. This house was the best we’ve stayed at by far! The check in process was simple and quick! The property management company was extremely helpful with any questions we had. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable. The pool and spa were perfect too!! Hopefully will stay at this property again soon. We recommend this property 100%!

The house is beautiful and has everything you need to feel right at home. Too bad there was a mini sand storm and we couldn't use the pool as much as we wanted to, but relaxing indoors was refreshing. We bought a fan to help cool off more, the lowest the temp goes is 72. With good reason, they maintain everything perfectly. Our stay was amazing, and we enjoyed ourselves to the max. Definitely going back.

We rented this property for 3 nights and had a great time. The home is well appointed and has everything you can think of to make your stay pleasurable. We will be back!

We had the most amazing time at the Desert Princess. My family and I were in a tight spot after having to cancel our first rental due to a dirty pool that made it impossible to swim. We were celebrating my daughter's 9th birthday, and it was the 4th of July weekend, so we were concerned that we wouldn't be able to find anything available. However, Lars, our host, worked a miracle with a last-minute booking, and we stayed at this incredible home for three nights. Everything about his place was enchanting; the cozy beds, peaceful neighborhood, and decor were breathtaking, with a perfect mix of modern and rustic elements that made it feel like a true retreat. The location was also fantastic, with stunning views that we couldn't get enough of. But the real highlight was the pool and spa - it was spotless and the perfect temperature for swimming with my three children. Thank you Lars and team, for making our last-minute booking a dream come true! We will see you guys again soon! Cheers, Leo

My work colleagues and I had a lovely stay @ this spacious and well equipped home. It met our expectations (the photos are very true to the space - if not convey how airy and bright the main living space is) - and in many ways exceeded them. I was particularly pleased with the Altamira team, as they jumped on each of our requests on the SAME DAY! Would happily rent from them again!

My daughters and I absolutely loved this house. It was spotless and beautifully decorated from the tasteful furniture to the crisp linens. We chose to heat the pool and spa and it was very warm- just how we like it. The views are beautiful, looking out at the snowed capped mountains in April from the hot tub. The house is in a very peaceful and quiet golf community with pretty walking paths and around 30 pools for public use, although this also has a private pool. The house rules are no outside noise/music so it is not the place to come if you plan to party loudly at the pool. The community seems very quiet with respectful neighbors and that was fine for us! We can’t say enough about how much we love this house and will definitely come straight back here next time we visit Palm Springs!

The property was better than expected. The furnishings and art are thoughtful, comfortable and uplifting. We were able to stay with our little one and our parents and it was perfect for every age. The views are certainly calm - as described. Great neighborhood too! We will definitely be back.

The home was pristine and top notch. I’m so glad we went with this home. Beautiful views from pool. Every bedroom was roomy with en-suite like a master. Perfect for multiple couples. The decorator did an amazing job! Also the home had 4 tennis racquets an plenty of balls. The instruction book was very well done with pictures included. We loved this place!

My stay at the Calm Palm was a dream! It is so nicely decorated while still feeling really cozy. I love that each room has an en suite bathroom, making it a much more comfortable stay with your friends or family. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped, so you can cook or host any meal with ease. The outdoor space with the pool/spa and dining area is such a treat, and easy access to lovely walking paths throughout the neighborhood. This is a great house for a relaxing retreat or a fun trip away with friends… it has everything you could want! I have such fond memories here and I can’t wait to get back!

Clean, homey, and a phenomenal getaway spot. This house was the vacation we NEEDED! There was so much to do, we ran out of time and I will have to go back. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that the pool and fireplace make the vibes immaculate!

We had such a lovely and relaxing vacation for our family of 6. The house and outdoors were beautiful and stylish. The beds were comfy for a great night sleep with a bonus of private bathrooms for each bedroom. The kitchen was completely outfitted for dining in and the outdoor fire pit and lounging area was so peaceful. It was wonderful to have our own private pool and hot tub. We can't wait to enjoy another mini vacation at this beautiful property.

We had a lovely stay here to celebrate the New Year! The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed including comfortable beds. Lovely decor, and the individual bathrooms in each room made for a comfortable stay for three couples. The hosts were easy to contact and very helpful. Loved the pool and hot tub as well as the neighborhood which had a path that was great for morning walks. We took advantage of the nearby golf courses and the Palm Springs restaurants and shopping, even took an easy trip out to Joshua Tree National Park. All around a wonderful stay and we’ll be excited to return in the future!

We LOVED our experience at the Calm Palm. Spacious, well stocked house with cute and high quality decor in a lovely and safe neighborhood with running/walking paths accessible right from the back yard and a golf course within the community. Very nice to have private bathrooms for each bedroom plus a communal powder room in the hall. Beautiful, clean private pool and hot tub! Will definitely be returning.

The Calm Palm was everything we were looking for in a vacation house! Super convenient location close to lots of golf, restaurants, and entertainment. The space itself is incredible, tons of attention to detail and plenty of room for everyone to lounge out. We especially loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom and king beds. No need to fight over the best room because they were all awesome! Having a sunny patio with your own pool and hot tub was the icing on top. We never wanted to leave! Highly recommend to anyone vacationing in Palm Springs!-

The Calm Palm Retreat is exactly as the name suggests - a calm oasis from the everyday stresses, surrounded by green landscaping and welcoming decor. I love the way this home is styled (especially the palm tree wallpaper in the bathroom and the wall covered with record albums). Every detail was carefully considered. This place has everything you could need, from extra towels to endless kitchen supplies. Of course, the pool is gorgeous and warm and a great space to unwind with a cocktail! The neighborhood felt very safe to walk around too and all the neighbors I met were just lovely. I hope to visit again!
